What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to keep, and to send back on later visits. Browsers also offer other storage, such as session storage and local storage, which work in a similar way but are not sent to the server automatically. Laws such as the EU ePrivacy Directive and Turkish KVKK guidance treat all of these the same way, so this policy covers them together.
Cookies are usually grouped into four kinds:
- Strictly necessary: needed for the site to work or to keep it secure.
- Functional: remember a choice you made, such as a language or a display setting.
- Analytics: measure how the site is used.
- Advertising: follow you across websites to show targeted ads.
What kuarktek.digital stores
The first two kinds load with the page. Analytics and advertising load only if you accept them, and we use no social-media cookies at all. On a first visit, and on every visit after you decline, the site stores nothing beyond the table below.

None of the five contains personal data, none is sent to our server, and none is shared with anyone.
Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary technical cookie as part of its security filtering or load balancing. Such a cookie cannot identify you and is not used to track you.
Only if you accept
If you accept, the site loads Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager, so we can see how many people read a page and which routes they take through the site. The same measurement is linked to Google Ads, which lets us show our own advertising again to people who have already visited kuarktek.digital. That link is what makes this group advertising and not analytics alone.
Until you accept, none of it is requested: no script is fetched from Google, no ping leaves the page, and none of the values below is set. Google Tag Manager sets no cookies of its own; the ones below belong to Google Analytics.

Accepting also lets Google receive the signal that your browser visited the site, sent to your own Google domain, google.com.tr from Türkiye. Google can read and set its own advertising cookies on that domain and on doubleclick.net, under Google's policy rather than ours. A remarketing audience is built from those signals; we see the audience as a number, never as a list of people.
Google acts as our processor for the analytics and may process the data on servers outside Türkiye and the EEA, under its own terms. The table above covers what the site loads today; if we add a tag that stores something new, it is added here before it goes live. You can withdraw your acceptance at any time through Cookie Settings at the foot of any page, which stops any further loading; the cookies already set are cleared in your browser, as described below.
Third parties
The fonts, scripts, styles, images and videos that make up kuarktek.digital are served from our own domain. We embed no third-party players, widgets or chat tools. The one third party the site can reach is Google, for the analytics and advertising described above, and only after you have accepted them. Where a page links to another website (a client, an award platform, a social network), that website may set its own cookies once you arrive there, under its own policy.
Consent
The values in the first table are strictly necessary or functional, so they are exempt from consent requirements and need no permission from you.
Anything beyond them is not. Before any analytics or campaign-measurement technology loads, a small band asks whether you accept it, and declining is one click, exactly as accepting is. Nothing in that group runs until the answer is yes, and no answer is treated as a no.
Your answer is kept in your browser under kt-consent so the question is not repeated on every page. It is asked again after six months, and you can change it at any time through the Cookie Settings link at the foot of any page. If you decline, or later withdraw, nothing beyond the necessary values loads.
How to control storage in your browser
You can view, delete and block cookies and site storage in your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies and Site settings
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Blocking all storage for kuarktek.digital will not break the site; the opening animation will simply play on every page, and the cookie band will ask again on each one.
Changes to this policy
